Hi, I'm Shakeya
After surviving COVID-19, I found myself searching for purpose and a deeper connection with myself. After five hours of silence and prayer, I was guided to create waist beads. What began as an act of faith in 2020 has since grown into a brand dedicated to celebrating womanhood and meaningful adornment.
Ayanfe is Yoruba and means "the chosen one" and "the one who is loved." Those words are at the heart of everything I create. Handcrafted with authentic gemstones, 14KT gold filled accents and durable materials, designed to celebrate womanhood, self-expression and the beauty of becoming.
